Scoutmasters of Troop 40
Mr. Rick Wrobel, 27 Years as Scoutmaster
Mr. Wrobel has been the Scoutmaster of Troop 40 since 1994. He has devoted his life to help give our scouts a great foundation in which to grow their lives.
Mr. Joe Casarez, Asstistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Casarez joined our Troop 40 family in 2014 as an Assistant Scoutmaster. He earned his Eagle Scout in 1985. We are blessed to have him as part of our family and he provides firm leadership to our scouts. In 2017, Mr. Sowers chose his successor and nominated Mr. Casarez to serve as the next Lonestar District Eagle Scout Chairman. Mr. Casarez accepted the nomination and is currently serving as the Lonestar District Eagle Scout Chairman.
Mr. Mike Alvarez, Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Alvarez joined our Troop 40 family in 2019. Mr. Alvarez has taken the responsibility to be the Marshmellow Giants Assistant Scoutmaster, along with Mr. Bernat. Mr. Alvarez earned his Eagle Scout and has shown to be a valuable member of the troop 40 leadership team and believes in Faith and Family first. Mr. Alvarez currently has one son, Simon, in Troop 40.
Mr. Kevin Bernat, Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Bernat joined our Troop 40 family in 2019. Mr. Bernat has taken the responsibility to be the Marshmellow Giants Assistant Scoutmaster, along with Mr. Patout.
Mr. Lee Swint, Assistant Scoutmaster
Mr. Swint earned his Eagle Scout in 2002; and joined Troop 40 as an adult leader and has been an active Assistant Scoutmaster since.
